At Band of the Wild, sustainability isn’t an add-on—it’s core to every adventure. All costumes are made in small batches in California, which drastically reduces shipping emissions and guarantees ethical working conditions. We use premium, soft cotton for comfort and durability, supporting every moment from newborn softness to big kid bravado.

Prints are made using a process that uses far less water than conventional techniques, making it the most eco-friendly form of textile printing available today.

Thirty percent of every costume is constructed with deadstock fabric—surplus, high-quality material left unused by other designers and mills. Instead of being discarded or burned, these beautiful, premium materials find new life in our creations. Deadstock is top-tier, unused fabric, never secondhand, adding both sustainability and unique character to every piece. It’s a cornerstone of circular fashion, helping us keep extra textiles out of landfills.
